DIRTBIKE WICH ONE TO BUY!?

i want to buy a dirt bike really fast good performance dirt bike i like yamaha im thinking about getting the yamaha tt r230 and a 2002 yamaha yz426f are those good bikes but it has to be in price range of 3,600 TO 4500 . im 20 very mucalure about 145 to 180 so im not teen to get an idea i want a fast motocross light or offroad cause i like fast but yet horsepower the best.

Dude, you need to get your act together first of all!!!! LOL.What is it 145lbs or 180lbs? Thats a huge gap.As far as bikes go, you can’t even compare a TT-R to a YZ-F, totally different bikes nevermind the fact that you compared a 230cc to a 426cc. I can tell you from experience that the TT-R is slow as molasses, and the old YZF426 was an absolute tank, a fast tank, but a tank none-the-less. Get yourself a two stroke 125cc motocross bike, they’re light, fast, easy and cheap to maintain… a great first dirtbike. I’d recommend Suzuki’s RM125, or Yamaha’s YZ125

2009 klx250s mods (sprocket, exhaust, tires)?

Im looking to upgrade the sprockets and what are the best tooth setups for front and rear. I ride mostly offroad. (also would i be able to pull wheelies just with a throttle twist with a certain number of teeth?)
Also im looking for new tires suited to offroad, would Michelan AC-10s be good or Dunlop D606′s be better? Or is there some better option. I ride 85% offroad and 15% on and I dont do that much highway riding, if any.
Also, what is a good slip on exhaust for power? if not for power, what about a slip on just for a good sounding bike?
thanks

I bought a range of fronts from 11-14T. The 11 will pull hard, but is too short for anything useful. I prefer the 12T. I haven’t changed the rear. (Primarily ride in the mountain areas of Breckenridge, CO.)

I think I have the Kenda’s on right now. They’re a good dual purpose tire. It really depends what kind of terrain you’re riding when you go offroad. If you need a knobbie, then you strap them on, and no cop will ever care. Just go slow on the pavement, and they’ll last just fine.

Adding a pipe, IMHO, makes the bike too loud. I’m no tree hugger, but my buddy’s bike has a pipe, and it’s annoying as hell.
