what will happen to the bikes engine if it is run without the air filter clamp ?
Guys My bike was found to be not having the airfilter clamp towards the carburetor end. Resulting in the intake of air from the carburetor manifold directly without filtering it. I had significant millage reduction. now the it has been fitted on the place.Millage is Improving. Will it would have caused damage to the engine .
You probably sucked some quantity of dirt into the engine that the filter would have caught. I doubt it was that much and that any significant damage has been done.
Yes, mileage will improve now that the intact tract is connected and complete again.

What is the value of two 70s model DANDY pocket bikes be?
Two near perfect shape original DANDY pocket bikes with Rolland RP 40 engines. One has chambered exhaust and smooth bore carb and optional front fender. other is completely original. clutch, tires, engine, everything is in perfect shape and all original parts made in japan. what would the value of these bikes be separately. also any information on parts or any information at all will help.
check out http://www.pocketbikeplanet.com/f168/ and do a comparison yourself – it would help to know the hours on the bikes to determine their current value – current market value with an operational motor and good frame/physicial consdition would run 350-400$ a piece – it also depends on what state/country you are in – a state like Idaho is not going to have a demographic populace that interested in them – so the value is decreased – a state like california would sell higher
