Convert to hybrid road bike. XT w / 105S .. Is it worth it?
I have a road bike with 105 components. I use it as a traveler, so I want to turn the handlebars. I'm thinking you can get a flat bar and XT levers / brake levers (components of the mountain) and leaving the 105 courses, derailuers, etc. Does anyone have experience doing this? Did it work? It is even worth it?
Buy parts and installation will cost almost as much as a new bike from a "second" company like Fuji or Motobecane or Windsor or KHS. Things Shimano road and MTB are not happy together (although it works, something well), but do things flat bar road may be another option, but not yet profitable in my opinion ..

I have a road bike and cheap, I wanted to change my carbon fork. I a mother dedicated to my fork and after doing some research has shown that the helmet should be 1. The fork is a thread. The headset can be used with threaded or not. Now the old fork sounds like it's an old one, so I think you have a pen mother right now. You can not use a pen line with a fork without thread, because they are different sizes. It is now a carbon fork with a fork 1 inch requires a threadless headset and stem, more than likely, the need for a hold. This small part should come with the mother. If no, go to the bike shop.
